"The emperor of heaven, this great Dharani is a mantra proclaimed by the eighty-eight gazas and hundreds of thousands of Buddhas. In order to get rid of the suffering of all living beings' filthy evil karma; for all hells, animals, and Yama To be liberated from the world, hungry ghosts and other beings; to be liberated for all beings in the dead sea in the face of emergency and suffering; for the short-lived and unsalvaged beings to obtain benefits; for the salvation of the beings who like to cause pollution and evil karma; for not believing in the good law And the evil karma sentient beings who have lost the right way are liberated; for this reason, countless tens of thousands of Buddhas jointly proclaimed this great Dharani mantra.

The common sense fate of all births will never forget the "Buddha Venerable Dharani"."

The origin and destiny of Buddha Ding Zun Sheng Dharani:

The great Buddha proclaimed "Buddha Dharani" with his compassion to save the good living in the emperor. Therefore, "Junsheng Dharani" is widely circulated in India. After the Buddha passed away, until the first year of Yifeng in the Tang Dynasty (AD 676), there was a Brahmin monk in India, named Buddha Poli, who traveled thousands of mountains and rivers, prepared for hardships, and came to Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province, China to make rituals. Manjushri Bodhisattva. At the foot of Wutai Mountain, he bowed to the top of the mountain with the most devout heart, and bowed to the top of the mountain step by step. With a heart of infinite sadness, he said from the depths of his heart: "Since the Buddha passed away, all the great sages and bodhisattvas have not come out to save poor sentient beings. There is only Da Shi Manjusri, In this Wutai Mountain, compassion attracts sentient beings and teaches sentient beings to cultivate the way of Bodhisattva. What I hate, Buddha Poli, is that I was not born in the time when the Buddha lived. I could not see the Buddha’s sacred face, and I could not listen to the Buddha’s teachings. Regret! Therefore, I traveled far and wide, and with the most sincere heart, came to pay respect to Master Manjushri, begging Master Manjushri, you are so merciful, and allow me to see your solemn and honorable appearance."

After speaking, salute to the top of the mountain, weeping and weeping like rain. Just as he was paying his respects, when he raised his head, he suddenly saw an old man, calmly walking out of the mountain. The old man came to Buddha Boli with a kind face, and suddenly spoke to Buddha Boli in Brahman language: "Master, you have traveled all over the world, and you have worked so hard to visit the holy sites. The heart of seeking the Dharma is moving. However, Chinese sentient beings create many sin karma, and many monks and monks violate the precepts. Such a deep sin karma is difficult to save. Only the "Buddha Dharma Sutra" can eliminate all evil karma of sentient beings. .Is it unknown whether the Master brought this sutra?" Buddha Poli said: "The poor monk with one heart and one mind, came straight to pay respect to Master Manjusri. I didn’t bring this sutra." The old man said, "Since the master didn’t bring this sutra, nothing came. What benefit? Even if you see Master Manjusri, how can you gain knowledge? Mage might as well go back to India and take the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra" to spread the middle-earth. This is equivalent to a great offering to the Buddhas. It also benefits the masses, saves the netherworld, and repays the great grace of the Buddhas. The next time the master brings this sutra, I will tell you the residence of Manjushri Bodhisattva, disciple."

When Buddha Polly heard what the old man said, he suddenly realized that he was overjoyed, so he saluted the old man's heart. Just when he looked up, the old man in front of him suddenly disappeared. The Buddha Boli was astonished, and even more pious, single-minded, returned to India and took the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra". After the six cold and heat of the meal breeze and dew, Buddha Boli with strong perseverance, unrelenting piety, the great compassion and willingness of saving all suffering beings, and the iron will to overcome the thorny road, continuous Lofty mountains. Step by step, through the endless, uninhabited Gobi Desert. It took six long years to travel around in this way. Finally, in the second year of Yongchun (682 AD), Buddha Poli obtained the "Buddha Dharma Sutra" and once again came to Xijing, China. According to the law of the Tang Dynasty at that time, the translation of the Sanskrit scriptures into Chinese was subject to the emperor's approval. So, Buddha Boli went to see Emperor Gaozong Li Zhi of the Tang Dynasty, clarified what happened, and handed over the original Sanskrit of "Buddha Dharma Sutra" to Gaozong Tang. Unexpectedly, Tang Gaozong was a selfish person. He received the Sanskrit texts of Buddha Poli, and ordered Master Rizhao Sanzang and others to translate them in the palace and banned the texts in the palace. I also rewarded Buddha Boli with 30 pieces of fine silk, and wanted to send Buddha Boli away. Buddha Polly saw that this scripture was forbidden in the palace and not allowed to be spread. With tears streaming down his face, he said to the emperor: "The poor monk went through all the hardships, risked his life, traveled thousands of miles, obtained the scriptures, and came to Middle-earth. The poor monk's wish was to help all living beings and save the suffering. It is not a greed to reward money, nor is it to gain any fame and fortune. Please the emperor to ban the scriptures and popularize the people, so that the people and the netherworld will contain the spirit, and benefit from the Buddha's light! Tang Gaozong has no choice but to leave the translated Chinese scriptures. , Gave the Sanskrit scriptures back to Buddha Polly. Buddha Polly got back to the Sanskrit scriptures and visited people who knew how to translate.

After many hard work, I finally found Master Shunzhen, a Han monk who understands Sanskrit, at Ximing Temple. So he played Tang Gaozong again and was approved by the imperial decree. Buddha Boli was at Ximing Temple, and he translated the "Buddha Dharani Sutra" with Master Shunzhen and others. After the scriptures were translated, Buddha Boli had his wish, so he took the original Sanskrit scriptures and went to Wutai Mountain. Manjushri Bodhisattva took him and he never went out of the mountain. Five years later, in the Tang Dynasty for three years (AD 687), there was Master Zhijing, the abbot of Dingjue Temple, who personally visited Master Rizhao Sanzang, and consulted on the "Fuding Zunsheng Dharani Mantra", Rizhao Master Sanzang then pronounced the Sanskrit sounds. After 14 days of careful proofreading and review, all the minor differences between the imperial palace translations and the folk translations were re-checked and phoneticized, so that the Sanskrit sounds of the words, sentences, and sentences were all re-checked. No difference. And recorded in court documents.

In the ninth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1412), Emperor Ming Chengzu personally wrote the preface for the "Buddha Dharma Mantra". Highly praise the immeasurable merits of "Zunsheng Dharani Mantra". The "Buddha Venerable Dharani" proclaimed by Sakyamuni Buddha to save the benevolent emperor and its causes are recorded in the Sanskrit scriptures of India and translated into Chinese by Venerable Buddha Poli and Venerable Shunzhen . The historical facts that Buddha Boli was enlightened by Manjushri Bodhisattva, returned to India to learn the scriptures, and later turned and translated, were recorded as text by the abbot of Dingjue Temple in the Tang Dynasty, Zhijing. These important documents, as well as the preface of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, are all recorded in the "Tribunal of the Tripitaka·Esoteric Buddhism". Dear Virtues, after you have read this article "How the Buddha Dharma Venerable Dharani was transmitted to China", please think about it for a moment: Why Manjushri Bodhisattva wanted to manifest the old man and ask Venerable Buddha Boli to return to India to obtain the scriptures , And specifically specify the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra"? Why did Venerable Buddha Boli risk his life for six years, endure all kinds of hardships, traverse thousands of mountains and rivers, and bring the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra" from India to China? Why did Venerable Buddha Boli prefer not to reward the emperor, insist on spreading the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra" to the people, and after tossing and tossing, find someone to translate the sutra, and then it is considered to be a wish? These three questions show that the "Buddha Venerable Victory Dharani Mantra" is very, very important to the sinful and suffering sentient beings! As Manjushri Bodhisattva (the old man) said: "Chinese sentient beings create many sin karma, and many monks and monks have violated the precepts. Such a serious sin karma is difficult to save. Only the "Buddha Sovereign Dharani Sutra" Only then can all the evil karma of sentient beings be eliminated!" This unswerving sage's golden and stone words is really thought-provoking! There is a verse in the "Buddha Venerable Dharani Sutra", which says it very well:

"In the old days, the Venerables went to the east, but were drawn away by Manjusri. If there is no Venerable Victory Curse in the East, the lonely soul cannot get rid of the dust."
