In our eastern country, especially in the new era and new spiritual circles, a gentle egalitarianism and complete self-righteousness prevail. They claim that no one point of view is better than the others, and therefore all points of view should be treated equally, so that the richness of diversity can be revealed.

In other words, when we do not make any judgments about right and wrong, we can demonstrate the equal compassion of all beings. Hypocrisy has nothing to do with true compassion, it is just a kind of stupid compassion.

Stupid compassion thinks that he is doing good, but its essence is very cruel.

If you have a friend who is an alcoholic and you know that drinking another glass of wine will kill him, and he begs you for a drink at this time, does true compassion mean you should give him the wine? After all, giving what others want is a good deed, isn't it? How can you impose your opinions on others? So to give him wine is to show compassion, right? wrong!

Send a box of whiskey to a serious alcoholic just because he needs it and you want to do good. Such behavior is not good at all. That is a stupid kind of compassion, not true compassion.

What most people call "compassion" is actually: please be nice to my ego. However, your ego is your greatest enemy, and being kind to your ego is actually not merciful.

If your ego needs to find a mother who will always take care of you, then go to the circle of the new age to find a relaxed, kind, always smiling, and always soft-spoken teacher, and then learn to use the full Spiritual rhetoric, label one's self.

Everything is comfortable and pleasant. You will become a consumer of the spiritual fashion circle, but that will not help you grow.

Therefore, we must start to learn to give true compassion, not stupid compassion. For the two, we must first make a distinction between wisdom.

True compassion has a power. In order to make something constructive happen, this power sometimes makes you more painful.

For example, a person is hurt because he wants to rely on others for everything. He desperately needs other people's attention to him, and he is always stalking and hoping to win sympathy, which makes everyone around him breathless and pushes him away. So this person felt rejected, and blamed others for not loving him, and the injury was deeper.

For this person's pain, someone may express their sympathy for them, "poor boy, it is too bad for him to abandon you. I really feel sorry for you."

True compassion brings in understanding and clarity and thinking beyond compassion.

It will say: I feel your pain and I know you are hurt. Some words are not pleasant, and it is not easy for you to hear them, but I see you trip over and over again by the same thing. You give yourself to others, expecting them to be the masters for you. If others do not do this, you will feel rejected. I see you get hurt repeatedly in the same pattern, and I think now is the time for you to face this problem.

True compassion not only brings understanding and insight into potential problems, it also helps people face problems and grow.

This compassion is related to reality. It may cause more pain in the moment, because it is uncomfortable to examine our fixed patterns. However, only by examining them will the untimely patterns change and things will turn for the better.

True compassion has to do with courage. We must take risks for our own words that may hurt others, but the truth expressed with love is enough to heal the pain caused. The pain is because we exposed the wound that has been hidden. The pain is because the masks or characters that are not our essence are torn apart.

Although the compassion shown by hypocrisy may seem gentle and empathetic, it is not balanced. True compassion can create powerful actions and have a lasting and long-term influence in a person's life.

Zen divides the two into "grandmother Zen" and "orthodox Zen".

In order to wake up from the dream of reincarnation, the ego must be repaired, otherwise, you will continue to play your best tricks. However, "Grandmother Zen" will never challenge you. In order to do good, "Grandmother Zen" will let you wake up later or allow you to end the meditation earlier, allowing you to indulge in yourself.

"Authentic Zen" will take out a long incense board and yell at you. Your bones may be interrupted, and your ego may be shattered.

True compassion will achieve us by inducing pain in the process of our creation of Consummation. Its style may be to kick your ass, insult you, and make you very unhappy.

If you are not ready to accept this tempering, then my friend, you must not approach those who are truly compassionate, because they will let you taste the taste of fried ass.

Think about it, leaving a person in the bubble of the illusion, behind the high wall of defensive armor, is more cruel in the long run, and the damage to them will be deeper, because hiding in the character, mask and high Behind the wall makes it impossible to grow. This person may waste a precious life in the same repeated despair and pain.
